TRANSPORTATION!
- Songthaew taxis (light blue) passes along the beach road towards Rayong town (there about 3 per hour). The final stop is the main bus station in Rayong. You can find Tesco Lotus only 400 meters away from the busstation.
From Rayong town bus station, you can reach many places around Thailand. There are also 2 other bus stations (including Nakorn Chai Air). Its easy to go Bangkok, there is at least one bus or minibus each hour (from 04:00 am to 8:00pm). The stop in Bangkok is either at Victory monument (BTS) or Ekamai bus station (BTS).
To travel directly to Ban Phe, it takes either a moped or bicycle. Taxis can also be booked for this purpose at the restaurant below the house. There are no Songtaew taxi running all the way to Ban Phe. From Ban Phe you can then buses or vans to Bangkok at least once per hour. The end destination is Victory Monument or Ekkamai bus station where the BTS skytrain available
There are also possibilities to travel to other resorts areas like Pattaya, Ko Chang and Jomtien etc. Taxis can be booked for transport there and to other locations around Thailand. Songtaew taxi runs along the coastal stretch between Rayong, Ban Phe and Mae Phim. This is perfect if you want to discover more of the beautiful Rayong coast. Prices 10-30 THB
